Spa Therapy Certification Course Description:
Spa services that will be covered in the two-day intensive training will be as follows:
Reflexology 101-A method of massage that relieves nervous tension through the application of finger pressure, especially to the feet
Hydrotherapy- External use of water in the treatment of certain diseases. Healing baths, incorporating steam, and ionic foot detox
baths into lifestyle change programs. The true meaning of Spa is healing with water.
Aromatherapy-The use of selected fragrant substances in lotions and inhalants in an effort to affect mood and promote health
Threading Hair Removal- is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in Egypt and is practiced in India , Persia , and Turkey
. It is now gaining popularity in Western countries. Practitioners use a pure thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over unwanted
facial hair. Threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line.
Nutritional Counseling- How to get your clients on 7- 30 Day Lifestyle Change Programs incorporating Nutrition and spa therapies,
and full body detoxification.
Spa Parties- How to give your clients the complete pamper party with spa therapies
Business Management principles- Marketing and promotional ideas, front desk management, human resource management as well
as practical business principles.
Detoxification-Benefits of using 7-day seasonal detox:
Liver detoxification, Reduced inflammation, Improved memory and sleep, Relief for joint pain and headache, Improved immune
system and immune functions, Reduced water retention, Allergy and asthma relief, Increased peripheral blood circulation
Ear Candling-is a natural, non-intrusive procedure that may help alleviate the painful effects of chronic headaches or sinus conditions,

Classes will be held 10am - 4pm. Each weekend will include a spa party on the Saturday evening from 6-8pm .
